The Architect

Architect Francisco Mañosa

Filipino architect Francisco “Bobby” Mañosa’s has been known for creating cultural architectural designs. With the use of native , Filipino materials like bamboo and nipa, Francisco Mañosa creates contemporary designs. He has been known to use the elements of Filipino culture, tradition, and idealism to his every work of art. He can use all matters and bind it that will form an art.
As the founder of Francisco Mañosa & Partners, Mañosa has provided a touch of the Philippine culture to every architectural design he made. Though he is challenged with a multitude of international clients, Mañosa’s firm, which has provided to the industry for the past two decades, has met those expectations with flying colors. Their effort to translate their design needs and objectives as best as they can has given them an elite position as an architecture firm, Francisco Mañosa and partners design was change when they got  international client,we known that Francisco Mañosa and the partners design filipino and their design are totally filipino stylem both nationally and internationally.
Francisco Mañosa  is also good in restoring strcuture and He has been famous for designing churches such as the Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and the Mary Immaculate Parish Church in Las Piñas City; for restoring the historical Las Piñas Church, for designing the modern and practical stations of the Metrorail Transit System; for developing the Quezon Memorial Circle; and for developing, restoring, and landscaping the beautiful Corregidor Island. Truly, he is both a native and modern architectural visionary.
Mañosa has also been known for designing the Coconut Palace, also known as Tahanang Pilipino, which, according to Mañosa, showcases the numerous uses and versatility of the coconut. Built in 1978, the Coconut palace is made of several types of Philippine wooden materials, such as coconut shells, and a specially engineered coconut lumber. The palace is shaped like an octagon, while the roof is fashioned like a traditional Filipino hat. With coconuts as the general inspiration

Architect Francisco Mañosa, showcase, for the first time, tropical and contemporary Filipino architecture. Francisco Mañosa known as Bobby Mañosa. he has been described as the most out sopken champion of an indigenous Filipino Architecture. His style is express in our tradition, vernacular form, he is also a techno wood architect. because he make use of it, technology to familiar native material that can be found in the philippines. such as bamboo, nipa, rattan, and coconut.. where Francsisco Mañosa use the coconut tree as a basic form and concept of the Coconut Palace or the Tahanang Pilipno.

The architect Francisco Mañosa says: “I design Filipino”, His forms are reveal deep roots and reflect to the past. and his target is designing flipino style for the country.

Francisco Mañosa and Partners

Architect Francisco Mañosa decide to make his own Architectural Firm Office, Francisco Mañosa and Partner is striving to meet the diverse design needs of the different clients. their target is to make the country proud of having Philippine Architecture and be a inspiration to others.

The Coconut Palace

The Coconut Palace, also known as Tahanang Pilipino or Filipino Home, The Coconut Palace is located in Manila, Philippines, idea of the former first lady Imelda Marcos. The Frist Lady Imelda Marcos want to build a palace for the country and for the Pope John Paul the Second , Pope John Paul the Second will visiting our country during 1981 and Imelda’s Husband President Marcos. It is the time of the Marcoses, The Marcos are man power and political power. Marcos change the country ( Philippines). He establish the Martial Law where the time of the breakdown of the Philippines.

The First Lady Imelda Marcos has the hand to beautify our country, when the Pope John Paul II visit in 1981, However, the Pope declined the offer of the First Lady Imelda Marcos. “saying that is was too ostentatious a pace to stay while the poverty-stricken Philippines” The First Lady Imelda Marcos was disappointed what the Pope say, The First Lady and the President don’t think about the Problem of our country.

The Coconut Palace, is Built in 1978, it is made of several types of Philippine Materials, hardwood, Coconut shells, and a specially engineered coconut lumber apparently known as Imelda Madera, I think this is a kind of cut of Coconut.

The Coconut Palace or The Tahanang Philipino is The Guest house of the Marcos, and when the end of the Marcos, the Coconut Palace is turn over to the Philippines. The government  take care of it. and it is open to the public for special proposes.

The Architect of the Coconut Palace or the Tahanang Pilipino is Architect Francisco Mañosa, Architect Francisco Mañosa clamed that the Tahanang Pilipino is a showpiece on the versatility of the coconut and its viavility as an export, and it was planned long before the Pope will visit the country.

Every Piece in this Palace has its own meaning and tradition. The Palace is shaped like an octagon to represent the coconut serving. while the roof is shaped like a traditional hat of the Philippines. mainly the farmer use it. the Filipino salakot or hat. their is some of its highlights are the 101 coconut shell chandelier. and the dining table made of 40, 000 ( forty thousand) tiny pieces of inlaid coconut shells, and more.

why it is called the Coconut Palace, as a citizen of the Philippines, coconut is widely known in our country. coconut give us food, money, and everything,  That’s why Coconut Palace is made of Coconut. and Coconut is known as Tree of life. from the coconut’s roots to its trunk, bark, fruit, flower and shell. the Palace is design , form and ornamentation echo these elements.

The coconut Palace manila is named because the architectural structure is made of 70 percent treated coconut lumber. Most of the materials in the Palace are native materials.

The Coconut Palace is located along Roxas Boulevard in manila and next to the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, Cultural Center of the Philippines is one of the project and plan of The First Lady Imelda Marcos.

The Coconut Palace is an interesting work of Architecture, a wonderful work and piece of art that sublimed the feeling of the Pilipino People. Even the country is under the Martial law. They manage to built a Palace that showcase the tradition and culture of our country.  and it is also a unique art of the coconut as the ultimate Tree of life and it is also symbolize the hard working of the people in the Philippines.

Today The Coconut Palace or the Tahanang Pilipino is already open to the public, tour, wedding, reception and others. Many famous people want to be the Coconut palace to be their Reception when two Pilipino got married  because the Palace is to romantic and peaceful. it is natural and the feeling of being Pilipino is in their.

For me, as a student of architecture. this Architectural structure is one of the example of home made architectural piece. the structure you can see and any angle you can see the structure itself symbolize that is Philippines and it is also symbolize the creativeness of the Pilipino people. every piece of materials in the Coconut Palace gives you a big important.

Architect Francisco Mañosa is one of the founder of the architecture in Philippines. He is one of the architect who start to call the attention of the Philippines people to be part of the organization to rebuild and make the country presentable and beautiful. Arch. Francisco Mañosa is the Favorite Architect of The First Lady Imelda Marcos when the Time and rule of the Marcos.

I think when Arch. Francisco Mañosa started to think and study the upcoming project which is the Coconut Palace or The Tahanang Pilipino. I think Arch. Francisco Mañosa use the Country as his inspiration and concept of his design. that reflect to the Pilipino people.

i believe that their is a Philippine architecture in our country. some architect they don’t believe that their is a Philippine architecture. you can see, that the Coconut Palace or known as the Tahanang Pilipino is already a piece and one structure that can prove to us that their is a Philippine architecture. and the next example or fruit of the Philippine Architecture is the new generation of the new architects in the Philippines.

Ilocandia Tour

Ilocandia Tour

August 5 is  the start of  our Vigan educational tour, I’m not excite about the trip, but I’m more excited to travel with my block mates and some freshmen student of Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS-ARCH). I’m not excite  about the trip because I already visit the Ilocos trice, this is my fourth time to visit the ilocos.

Vigan City : where the past is a powerful presence. Vigan for me, Vigan is know for heritage site and also a historical site of the our country (Philippines), Vigan is located at the mouth of the Abra river in the northwestern part of the country(Philippines).

Vigan, the World heritage city in the Philippines was inscribed in the UNESCO World heritage list of sites and monuments.  The architectural structure f the Vigan Cityis a unique fusion of Asian  building design and construction with European colonial  architectural and planning.

Vigan today remains  to be the historical site of the north of the our country(Philippines) and also it is the home of proud Biguenos who welcome our tour and welcome us with stunning smile. Vigan City very known for their pastries and creative culture. The Vigan’s Longganisa is one of their famous delicacy  and this is also the number one choice of the tourist for their souvenirs.  I admit it  I like the ordinary longganisa  but not the vigans longganisa.

The trip

The trip was fine. Some sophomores student find their sleep comfortable, but I and my friends find some leisure to enjoy the trip. The trip was safe and calm  all the way to ilocos. When I nap for a while and suddenly fill a sleep then when I woke up, it was early in the morning, it was dark morning for me. No sun set, I don’t know where I am. Then when I ask the tour guide. “Ilocos na ba to?” Then she said “opo”, I can’t believe its already ilocos.  Our main objective to our trip is to visit the site of the lot for the Architectural Design. And to visit the heritage site and some famous structure including churches.

St. Maria Church

This is our first bus stop in Ilocos. I remember St.Maria this is the place where my grandfathers house located. St. Maria, Ilocos Sur.. St. Maria Church or la Asuncion de la Nuestra Senora Church, This church is one of the 4 UNESCO World Heritages Sites Baroques Churches of the Philippines.

Some Old people ( Manang or Manong) they call their old man. This Church is  prone to earthquakes. That’s why the bell tower is constructed a distance away from the main church. This church is made of bricks. Some say that the bell tower has a hole under the bell tower. That’s why its lining.

Some tour guide say it’s the lining tower of the ilocos. The side of this church is a cemeteries. The Church is totally Old but inside it looks like new. They preserve what is their and maintain it to become priceless.

The Quirino Bridge

Quirino Bridge is our next bus stop after the St. Maria Church.

I remember when my last visit to ilocos. We use the Old Quirino Bridge. But now. Theirs already a new bridge beside the Quirino Bridge. The Bridge connect the mountain to the other side. That’s bridge is the way to vigan. That’s why the  Quirino Bridge is very important to the Biguenos, not just the Biguenos but also us.

For me the Quirino Bridge is a nice subject for the photographer, because you can say it is photogenic, the huge bars that support the bridge is one of my subject. It holds tons of weight. It makes the bridge safe for use, and it makes the Quirino bridge I catching.

I and my friends took some shoot that will affects the Quirino Bridge as a background of the subject.

The next site is our main city tour destination, The Vigan City.

Vigan City

Vigan City after we pass the Quirino Bridge. Vigan is the Intramuros of the Ilocos, when I compare this to heritage place. I give my hand to the vigan. Vigan is totally heritage and historic. They preserve the original vigan before.

This is the place to visit where the tourist must visit, I remember when I and my family go and visit the vigan. My mom bought  all antiques she can fit to our car. Vigan the house of antiques and story.

The site for our Architectural Design are located in Vigan that day we roam round the site and took some picture of it then study for the finals. Some structure around Vigan City are already renovated.

The our hotel is along the Calle Crisologo, our hotel  is fine, not bad. Calle Crisologo is the famous street in Vigan City. It is historical and monumental for the Philippines.

Weaving in Ilocos is normal but base on talent of the Manangs.some weavers are business some are not. Some weaving use for hobby to use the time. when we when to the weaving house all weavers are old ladies or the Manangs.  I and my friends find store to buy something to eat. I saw a old lady weaving inside the vacant building.  I took a picture of it and think about what a good caption for this. The caption of my picture is “  Shy Manang” because when I took the picture of the old lady she is shy to face my camera.

While we’re having some fun with my camera. We took a picture for our batch picture to be given to the bluprint. And be part of the magazine. The Bachelor of Science in Architecture will be featured in the bluprint magazine new edition. I think the main subject of the magazine is all about heritage site around our country (Philippines).
The wind mill

when i saw the wind will in Pagudpod, I was stun by its gigantic blade and post. It was my first time to saw like that wind mill.
I can’t find the perfect angle for my camera. Because it so huge and it can’t fit to my frame. That’s why i move and move to find the perfect frame. And i was so obsessive when my framing was not perfectly vertical. We took a picture of our block, the sophomore section and will be shown to the bluprint. The wind mill in pagudpod was idea of the son of our late president marcos. Bongbong marcos. This is a brilliant idea to save energy and make use of it. To preserve and to make the place health. They save 50percent of their power because of the wind mill that converts the air to electricity. The wind mill is the counter part of the solar panel to make use of the lights and convert it to electricity. The wind mill is using air and convert it to electricity to be use by the consumers. all a can say to the wind mill is thumbs up.
The baluarte

baluarte, baluarteof the singson family. Singson is very known in ilocos sur and norte. They are one of the richest family in our country (Philippines). Singson made a zoo for the public and be one of the tourist spot in ilocos. And singson named it the baluarte. Some animals are pet of singson. Specially his tigers.
The baluarte is ok for me. But when i saw the under construction building inside the bualvarte i was shock. What the heck is this. Painted with gold plated glass, spiral and tall. Then i ask some tenants what is this building for? And they say its the casino of singson. Casino inside the zoo. The people will be shock when they saw and knew what it is. Casino in our country is not allow but singson has. You can show the down fall of our country in this site. As a student of bachelor of science in architecture i can say that the building is not proparely placed. And its anti-constextual architectural structure. Money is the key for all wants.
Fort Ilocandia

Fort ilocandia is a nice hotel for some how can apourd the cost,
Fort ilocandia is the 5 star hotel in laoag. It id located in Laoag, ilocos norte. There are to many tourist destination around it. One is the sinking bell tower. The hotel are good. The garden is located at the centre of the hotel and it welcomes the people to look and come. Because the garden is so beautiful. We took some picture of it. And we took our block mates picture in front of the garden rotunda. The theme of our picture taking is ” maangas – pioneers “. It was fun, we enjoy it.
Paoay Church

Paoay church is one of the photogenic church in the Philippines based on the view and angle of the viewer. The church is totally heritage and historical. The structure is very “groundy”. The bell tower is constructed apart from the church of reason. The color are very rare means of old. The church is very known in the city because of its historical structure and the tourism are taking care of it and they maintain the historical site. We enjoy staying in Paoay church, picture taking, listening to some humors of the church. But after enjoying the site. One of my block mates meet an accident while taking our group picture. She’s really in pain. Her collar bone was broken and we rush her to the hospital. We wait him even we are already late to the next site, we wait for the result and we wait him to go to the next bus stop, we don’t leave man behind, we go together like family. That’s the story of out ilocondia tour.

Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation

Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation in Astana, Kazakhtan

The Architect

Norman Foster, Known as Lord Foster. Foster design the Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation, Foster + Partner is the lead design of the Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation. They make use of time to design in this project. The Foster + Partners studies the concept of their design.  The Co- architects: Tabanlioglu Architecture and Consulting ( Istanbul ).

Foster + Partner success working with a team of long term, in particular Spencer de Grey and David Nelson, the main project that built the majority of office and industrial architecture, and the ‘art’ architects who designed museums, universities, and theatres. Norman Foster handle the two degree. When Foster started his practice, a firm office would have employed 25 people. As Foster grew to more than 100 employees and the nature of practice change. It meant that the firm office took on a much wider range of projects, and also that very young architects and new could build under the Foster name much earlier in their careers than they could have done on their own. the firm office also a part of the training ground for the new architects.
As the firm office continued to grow, some question are starting to be raised was that while the large number of expansion had improved  a powerful key for raising the general standard of architecture, it made it more difficult for Norman Foster to collect more works of such as the Sainsbury Centre, or Willis Faber.
But while there is a number of Foster projects that have been no more than competent in recent years, Foster continues to confound his critics with such achievements as the sublime Pont Millau bridge in France, and the well regarded Hearst tower in Manhattan – a building that so impressed the New Yorker’s architecture critic Paul Goldberger that he described Foster as the Mozart of Modernism. this is the works of Foster where no one compete.

Current and recent work includes the largest single building on the planet, “Beijing Airport, the redevelopment of Dresden Railway Station, Millau Viaduct in France, the Swiss Re tower and the Great Court at the British Museum in London, an entire University Campus for Petronas in Malaysia, the Hearst Headquarters tower in New York, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Robert and Arlene Kogod Courtyard at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington and research centres at Stanford University, California.” we can see that Foster is a famous architect and He is known everywhere. single building can change your entire life. Foster + Partner’s works is not a big joke. when you saw this builds you know and you can tell to your self my life is modern.
Norman Foster design deals with the nature, climate, tradition, and the client. Foster is also one of my favorite architect, his works are perfectly structure. the structure itself bind the feeling to the surrounding. even some of his works are anti- contextual. he can show us what is the meaning of this architectural structure. No one of his works has negative comment. Norman Foster  and the Partners are huge number of architectural Firm office that can handle the international at the same time.

One of the blog one I read, His architects, draftsman, etc. know  and when they enter the architectural firm office. they have the chance to become a architect. the firm office goal for their workers is, this architectural firm office is the new training ground and to show what can be show to the world.
The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation is also translated as there Pyramid of peace and Accord. It is seventy seven meter (77 m) high building in Astana. The capital of Kazakhtan. This modern architectural infrastructure represents the egyptian culture and tradition as it is. At ancient times pyramids were made of huge stone, sand and gigantic blocks or bricks, were one hundred (100)of people are lifting a single block or brick. The pyramid of peace and reconcilation or also known the Pyramid of peace and accord, however, is made of modern materials more stable materials such as glass, steel, and granite. All modern architectural structures are made of modern materials, some are all glass and some are all steels. This seventy seven meters (77m) high building is no doubt a wonderful representation of Astana thr capital of Kazakhstans ingenuity and creativity. It is even considered a “wonder” for most critics and but not only wonder, it is also a master piece of one architect that can change the world to be modern.
The pyramid of peace and reconciliation, it’s Pyramid portion of the building is sixty two meters (62m) high which sits on a fifteen meters high (15m) high earth covered blocks. The construction of the Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation All of this construction is ground level base. Though the landscaping of the pyramid of peace and reconciliation or the park rises up to cover the lower level of the structure, these are not in fact basement of the structure.

This architectural structure houses and opera house which basically makes it a very suitable infrastructure housing and binding the arts. It also has museums that depict Astana the capital of kazakhstans and it also depict to their culture.

The apex or the pointed part of the pyramid is made of stain glass incorporating doves which is, for me, very amusing and practical since it adds a certain natural touch. It also brings feelings and meanings to the people. It was design by architect Sir Norman Foster and inaugurated in September 2006.

The design is of five storey of triangles that form the pyramid, each triangle being twelve meters (12 m) on a side. the lower level or portions is three storey of triangles and clad in pale granite. the upper two rows of triangles per side, form a glazed apex. instead of stone cladding the triangles of the apex feature a design of stained glass.

The Pyramid of Peace and Reconciliation is also a palace houses a 1,500 – sear opera house, educational facilities, and others, it is also the national centre for Kazakhtan’s various ethnic and  geographical groups.

The pyramid of Peace and Accord is intended as a global center for religious understanding. and some religion are free to enter the pyramid thats why it called the pyramid of peace. peace for our world and  peace for religion.

And became the national museum of culture, and the new ” university of civilization”,  and also become the library and a research lab and center for Kazakhtan’s ethnic and geographical groups.

The Pyramid of peace is already the image of the country Kazakhtan. it symbolize the culture of Kazakhtan and the tradition. Architect Norman Foster make use of the color of the flag of the Kazakhtan which is color yellow and blue.

Architect Norman Foster and the Foster + Partner studies the change of climate in Kazakhstan. the astaian cliamte posed a signaficant challenge, with a temperature range from 40°C in summer to -40°C in winter. the construction must be rapid and precise.

As a student of architecture, I Compare the famous and one of the master piece of the famous architect I.M. Pei that he transform the country to be modern. The Louve, The infamous glass pyramid constructed around the heritage site and historical place around Paris. The Louve is the largest museums in the world and the most visited museum in the world and a historical monument. However, To the famous louvre the pyramid of peace and reconcilation is indeed more profound and mighty with its height for most parts and with the materials used in building it.
But todays day materials and parts are not important. The most important is the images of the architectural structure and its meaning.

As a student of Architecture i was shocked by this structure. The pyramid located centre of the city. and bring sublime feelings to the people. and ask, why their is a pyramid located in this city of Kazakhstan. for me Architect Norman Foster is one of my idol and one of my future rivals in architecture. the pointed hedge of the pyramid define some of the critics as power. it gives power and danger because of the pointed hedge.

Even a trashcan, plastic bottle, camera, polygon shape  can be a master piece and became famous. pyramid we all know that pyramid is historical structure and it is already old. however Architect Norman Foster change the image of the Pyramid itself.

We all know the function and the use of the pyramid during the time of the emperor and during the time of the early people. that Pyramid is use for the dead body of the higher class for example emperor and some goddess. in short the thumb. However  architect Norman Foster use the pyramid for people and he make the pyramid functional. The interior of the pyramid of peace and reconciliation was use. Architect Foster make use of it.

Norman Foster and the Partners are the best example and image of architecture, bind all matters and element to form a single entity which is the architectural structure.

China Central Television Headquarters — Beijing, China

Who is Rem Koolhaas

Remmert Lucas Koolhaas the Pritzker Prize – Winner

Remmert Lucas Koolhaas ” Rem Koolhaas” knows as the visionary and a philosopher. Rem koolhaas has his own world. He don’t mind what people say to his work. Rem koolhaas can control his out come or he can defense what he is doing. Some critics have agrued that Remmert Lucas Koolhaas ignores all consideration for beauty and taste. In other side Rem Koolhaas is a architect that ignores all and want to be different to other. His works are different to other.

The Principal of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, or OMA.
Well known to be different. In Rem koolhaas become one of the world most influence people.

Remmert Lucas Koolhaas is also one of many architects how love Deconstructive. Deconstruction, is an approach of architect to the building design that attempts to view the architecture in bits and pieces. to make the architectural structure minimalist. Some Decontructivist building may seem to have no sense and no visual logic, they deal to the form finding and they deal also the concept of the project. Frank Gehry is well known to be the father of Decontructivist, All of his works are all deconstruct process or the decon process.

Rem Koolhaas is also some of the architect who use the process of Modernism. Modernist architecture emphasizes function. And it attempts to provide for the specific needs rather than imitate the nature.  all parts, all sides of the structure are functional.

Also Rem Koolhaas is some of the architect who use the process of structuralism. I think Remmert Koolhaas is one of the architect who make use of this. cause his works are more on structural. structuralism is based on the idea of the architect that all things are built from a system of signs and these signs are made up of opposites or counterpart. structuralists design is also a process of searching for the relationship between elements. it bind all element to form one entity.

Post-modern is a approaches that had previously been dominant to all strcuture. Rem koolhaas  is also a true Post-Modern architect. today Post-modern is very known to the world of architecture all architect know what is Post-Modern. Post-Modern can be bind to the Post-Modern city or country.

China Central Television building known as CCTV is the new one in Bailing China. The old one was destroy by fire. That’s why they plan to make new one for the Beijing. The new headquarters of china central television was design by architect Rem Koolhaas and some Chinese expert. The project “china central television” began in march 2003 and must be finish in 2008 for the Beijing Olympic that will covered by the new china central television headquarter.

This New China Central Television Headquarter will be among the first of 300 towers to be constructed in beijing’s new Central Business District. As part of an international architectural competition organized by the beijing international tendering Co. The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) where Remmert Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren take place, was awarded the contract of this project.

The development and construction of the project undertaken by the chinese government to be part of the redevelop of the central Beijing with innovation and functional architecture. The form finding of the china central television building was derive from two L – shaped high-rise tower, linked at the top and the bottom at an angle to form a loop, which has been described as a ‘Z’ criss – cross. The china central television headquarter is known in china as “eyesore” and become the butt of many jokes.

According to some reports about this topic. Rem Koolhaas use the iconic process for this project. an iconic configuration of two high-rise buildings. The China Central Television headquarter building is one of the Skyscrapers in china. It is located in central business district, Beijing. Even it is Skyscraper it bind a single entity to the culture and the structure itself.

The Second building includes a hotel, a visitor’s center, a large public theatre and exhibition spaces. Rem Koolhaas make use for Functional process for this project. and the Second tower is for Television Cultural Center.

When i saw the building in picture, I’m totally shock at the structure. Two tower connected at the top that form L shape look alike Z Criss – cross.

The construction of the New China Central Television Headquarter was not easy to build. They need more time to start it because of the studies of the expert. we can see and think about it, how the loop L- shape done and the two tower will be connected with this L shape loop. My Professor told us that the construction of this is not a joke. they use a method to hold the loop and until they finish it. many huge crane was use and not only crane but also mind.
The China Central Television Headquarter for is not a sample of anti-contextual architectural structure. Remmert Lucas Koolhaas want to be different. When we say anti-contextual, anti to the site, anti to all aspects. But Remmert Koolhaas want it to be different to other. Being different is like anti. Different for Remmert Koolhaas deals to the design of his work. Different to means of style, different means of use and different means of function.

The New China Central Television Headquarters (CCTV) is a photogenic structure where you can find the beauty of the structure in different angle. with two tower connected to the top that form letter L and and other view, birds eye view you can see the form look like letter Z.

As a student of architecture i find it difficult to understand the structure and the concept of it. But i see it to my design philosophy. My design philosophy is, “Architecture is like an art where each elements matters. Where each elements has its own identity. My job is to bind each element to form as one single entity.”
the china central television headquarter building is one sample of my design philosophy it bind each element to form as one single entity. It connects the matters that will form the word architecture.

According to my research the CCTV ( China Central television headquarter ) is a big approve to the Chinese people. The building change there lives and help each other to maintain and protect the headquarter. Know the china central television headquarter building is part of the tourist spot destination in china.

The china central television headquarter is a big step for the Beijing and china to go all over again. To be the most improve country in the world. The china is known for the sleeping giant. And Now the giant is awake to bring back the past.

Not only the china central television bring china into real world. But the new structure of china is the birds nest, in Beijing china.
This is also sample of matter that bind with the culture and make use of it. Beijing is a normal place turn to urban because of this structure. The place also turned to be civilize because of the structure and the beauty of the city that bind all architectural structure to the city.

As a student of architecture, i think i can connect my self to Remmert Lucas Koolhaas. He want to be deferent to other, he give more attention to all different style, structure and idea.
My works is also like Remmert Koolhaas i want to be different to other. I don’t mind all things to make my work beauty and have taste. My problem is, i can’t depend my own work. I think i need to improve my own line and way to depend my works. That i can show and i can say. That my works is different to others.
All architect has own saying and philosophy. I think Remmert Koolhaas design philosophy deals with the word “different”.

“Architecture is like an art where each elements matters. Where each elements has its own identity. My job is to bind each element to form as one single entity.” This is my Design Philosophy, that will bind each element to form as one single entity, that will show to be different to the different.

Now i can say that Remmert Lucas Koolhaas is one of my starchitect and idol. Because our works and ideas are can be related and connected. We want our works to be different to other. And we want of works to be on top of others, means of our design base on different design and concept.

I want to follow Remmert Lucas Koolhaas works by showing to others that i want to my works is diffent like remmert koolhaas. Remmert Koolhaas is a brilliant Architect that deals each element and make use of it to form entity.

“It’s a weird city because the uglier the weather, the more beautiful the city. And the uglier the buildings, the more coherent the city.”

-Remmert Lucas Koolhaas
